Helping Ethiopia Achieve Longevity (HEAL) is a non profit 501(C)(3) dedicated to helping Nutrition Plus Holistic Home Care (NPHHC) reach program beneficiaries in Ethiopia more effectively.

Despite limited financial resources, NPHHC has been able to meet and exceed our goals. This includes providing integrated home-based care for people living with HIV/AIDS, economic empowerment for poor girls, and improving the education, health, life skills and psychosocial wellbeing of orphans and vulnerable children.

Some people write about it. Others talk about it. Mentuab Araya is doing something about it.

Upon returning to her birth country in 1993 to promote business investments, Mentuab realized that her true calling was stewardship to those in need. Since, Mentuab established NPHHC in 2003 and recently HEAL in the U.S., both focused on positively impacting Ethiopia by providing care and support to people living with HIV/AIDS and their families, people with disabilities, orphans and vulnerable children, and economic empowerment to poor women/girls.

Our mission is to offer economic empowerment to poor rural women/girls, as well as promote sexual and reproductive health, plus facilitate health services to young people.

By striving to get resources directly to the beneficiaries on the grassroots level, together, we can help children, families and communities in Ethiopia become productive and self-reliant.
